"A loving apologetic" ~ Author Charles L. Robinson Jr.

This week's devotion is an expounding extension from last week's devotion birthed from my (Charles L. Robinson Jr.) response to a responder of last week's devotion (to bring clarity to last week's inspired devotion.) The following words represents my response to the responder, hoping that these words could bring more enlightenment to our dialogue with the hope of the same accomplishment with you all. Here's my response:

"I was hoping to hear from you again. I enjoy the interaction. It's on my heart to expound a little more on my previous response for our enlightenment. The bible says "there is nothing new under the sun" meaning what we experience today (from Spirits) is the same nature of intent of spirits that has existed in past times (Old Testament dispensations to the current New Testament church - ecclesiastical dispensation.) In other words, if a spirit's intent was to seduce one creating delusion to ultimately distract one from God and the things of God back in the Old Testament days (before the New Testament church was birthed), then paralleling to that there are spirits today in the New Testament days of the church that has the same intent to seduce one creating delusion to ultimately distract one form God and the things of God (same rooting intent but different circumstances.) Yes, the dispensations are different, the audiences are different from the Old Testament to New Testament days which identifies "rightly dividing the word of truth". However, at the end of the day, irrelevant of the dispensation or audience, it still comes down to the same principle of a spirit through generations having the same intent - to seduce creating delusion for distraction against God and the things of God. In my original post I used Solomon (Old Testament setting) verse Paul (New Testament setting- the New Testament church) exhorting Timothy. Irrelevant of the different settings and time, a spirit attempted to accomplish the same thing with Solomon back in the Old Testament as it (a spirit) attempted with people in the New Testament whereby Paul was counseling his son Timothy. Solomon literally got distracted from God which is an underlying issue within the book of Ecclesiastes and people were getting distracted from God in the New Testament church days in the Pastoral Epistle of 1 Timothy. The New Testament scriptures illustrate the fulfillment of the same spiritual activities (what's going on in the spiritual realm) that was going on back in Old Testament days as what was going on in the New Testament days. That makes it relevant today because the principle has not been abolished. The biblical principle it's still much alive within fulfilment of the New Testament. You and your family have a wonderful week, it has been wonderful talking with you. Charles L. Robinson Jr.".
