"Tap into what God has placed within you" ~ Author Charles L. Robinson Jr.

Today's devotion is an encouragement to focus, exercise, and expand (manage) what God has placed within you rather than comparing yourself to others. Even though everyone can learn from someone, even executed lessons learned from others are built upon what God has placed within oneself. The Apostle Paul used this principle (tap into what God has placed within you) as an analogy in the context of athletics -Isthmian Games. The Christian athlete's victory comes within focusing, exercising, and expanding (managing) what God has put within him or her even in the midst of outward factors -competition, etc.( a Christian principle applied to athletics.) The Apostle used this principle (tap into what God placed within you) for relevancy pertaining other cultural issues attempting to suffocate falsehoods in the culture with truth. Paul did not compare himself to others, he simply remained true to what God placed within him and greater learned to tap into what God placed within him. The blessing is that God puts good stuff within everyone (God did not place your good stuff in vain), so I exhort you to "Tap into what God has placed within you". You and your families have a beautiful day!

"For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. But we will not boast of the things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God had distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you". 2 Corinthians 10:12-13

"But the manifestation of the Spirit IS GIVEN TO EVERY MAN to profit withal". 1 Corinthians 12:7
